Still to do:
Most of our bookings are done. We are still trying to decide on New York at the end of our trip. We may just fly straight home rather than stay for a couple of days..
The suitcases are out and the packing has begun.
The cat (who is currently not well) will be going to stay with my mother for a couple of weeks until the boys return.
Haircuts for everyone, colour for me
Last minute shopping for items still needed
Medication refills are in hand.
Since we'll be returning at the end of November we had to do the yard clean up and winterizing now. It seems weird to still have warmer temps but see everything tarped or put away.
The house has to be put back in order after the flurry of packing activity. I hate coming home to a messy house.
The plan is to blog along the way. If you're interested in following along with where we are and what we're doing be sure to sign up for email updates here:
This looks like a fantastic adventure you will be on! Salzburg is one of my dream destinations!
ReplyDeleteI'm very excited about it.
ReplyDeleteWOW What an awesome itinerary Barbara! You are ahead of the game by doing you yard clean up and winterizing before you go instead of having it in the back of you mind to have to get it done as soon as you get home. Enjoy your adventure!
ReplyDeleteFor sure. Last year we went away for a few weeks this time of year and we had a lot of work to do as soon as we got home.
