Wordless Wednesday - A Perfect Fit
I had a bird feeder made from a coconut shell, filled it with seed, and hung it up, hoping to attract some birds. However, instead of birds, a small red squirrel claimed the feeder as his own. The size was perfect for him, and in exchange, he allowed me to take some great photos of him enjoying his newfound spot.
Hahaha, Martha had a similar situation she blogged about just the other day. I suggested she watched a Mark Rober video, he's the king of squirrel traps, I mean, squirrel entertainment park:

oh yes! I have watched his video before. Squirrels are so smart!
DeletePRICELESS! Since moving, I want to hang my birdfeeder, but there are many more squirrels than we dealt with before, so I'm still debating whether I want to feed the squirrels or not! LOL
ReplyDeletethat's what it comes down to doesn't it? It's not a bird feeder, it's a squirrel feeder.
DeleteAn unexpected dinner party guest. That is so adorable! I sure hope the squirrel comes back for many visits and you can continue to enjoy their company.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the company :)
DeleteVery cute! I would say it's a fair exchange.
ReplyDeleteme too.
DeleteThat's so funny! Well, it was nice that your bird feeder worked, even though it wasn't in the way you planned. :)
ReplyDeleteIt made for some cute photos.
